Introduction
TCCA stands for trichloroisocyanuric acid. Trichloroisocyanuric acid and chemicals are used as disinfectants in swimming pools and fountains to help achieve clear, clean water. Our TCCA 90 is long-acting and slow-release to keep your pool free of bacteria and protist organisms.
TCCA 90 is a white solid with a chlorine smell. Its common forms are white granules and tablets, and powder is also available. Mainly used in the disinfection process of water treatment, usually used as disinfectant in swimming pools or SPA and bleaching agent for textiles.
After trichloroisocyanuric acid dissolves in the swimming pool, it will be converted into hypochlorous acid, which has a strong antiseptic effect. The effective chlorine content of TCCA is 90%, and the effective chlorine content is high. Trichloroisocyanuric acid is stable and will not loss available chlorine quickly like bleaching water or calcium hypochlorite. In addition to disinfecting, it can also reduce algae growth.
