Product Features

● Formulated with HEDP disodium salt as the base.

● An excellent organic phosphonic acid corrosion inhibitor.

● Capable of chelating Fe, Cu, and Zn ions. HEDP.Na₂ can dissolve oxides.

● Provides excellent scale and corrosion inhibition even at 250°C.

● Stable at high pH levels, resistant to hydrolysis, and resistant to decomposition under normal light and heating conditions; its resistance to acids, alkalis, and chloride oxidation is superior to that of other organic phosphonic acids.

● Forms six-membered ring chelate complexes with metal ions in aqueous systems, particularly with Ca²⁺.

● Exhibits excellent scale inhibition and a pronounced dissolution threshold effect. Synergistic effects are enhanced when used in combination with other water treatment chemicals.

Applications:

1. Water Treatment

* Scale and Corrosion Inhibition: Widely used in circulating cooling water systems, medium- and low-pressure boilers, and oilfield water pipelines to prevent the deposition of calcium, magnesium, and other salts (such as calcium carbonate scale) and to inhibit metal corrosion.

* Synergistic Effects: When used in combination with other water treatment chemicals (such as polycarboxylic acids), it significantly enhances scale inhibition and corrosion protection.

2. Industrial Applications

* Textile Industry: Used as a cleaner for metal and non-metal surfaces to remove oxide layers and impurities.

* Dye Industry: Used as a peroxide stabilizer and dye fixative to improve dyeing fastness and uniformity.

* Cyanide-free electroplating: Used as a chelating agent to replace cyanide in environmentally friendly electroplating processes.

3. Other Applications

* Electronics cleaning: High-purity HEDP•Na₂ can be used for precision cleaning of electronic components.

* Cosmetic additives: Used as a chelating agent or stabilizer to improve the performance of detergents or cosmetics.
