    SLES is an anionic surfactant with excellent performance. It exhibits good cleaning, emulsifying, wetting, foaming, and foaming properties, along with good solubility, broad compatibility, strong hard water resistance, high biodegradability, and low irritation to the skin and eyes.

    Applications

    ● SLES is widely used in liquid detergents, such as dishwashing liquid, shampoo, bubble bath, and hand soap.

    ● SLES can also be used in laundry detergents and heavy-duty cleaning agents. Replacing LAS with SLES can reduce or eliminate the need for phosphates and lower the overall dosage of active ingredients.

    ● In the textile, printing and dyeing, petroleum, and leather industries, it can be used as a lubricant, dyeing agent, cleaning agent, foaming agent, and degreaser.

    Storage

    Store in sealed plastic, plastic-lined, or stainless steel containers at temperatures between 5 and 40°C. Do not store near strong oxidizing agents, as this may exacerbate any fire situation. It is sensitive to changes in temperature and pH. Decomposition may occur at temperatures above 40°C or under acidic conditions (pH below 5). Decomposition is caused by hydrolysis, and the decomposition products are acids that catalyze further hydrolysis. Storage at temperatures below its set point will require reheating, posing a risk of overheating and decomposition, especially near heat sources. Such extreme storage, handling, and usage conditions should be avoided. It contains a small amount of citric acid as a pH buffer, which helps counteract hydrolysis.
