Acryloyloxyethyltrimethyl ammonium chloride (DAC) is a cationic monomer with vinyl groups, and its structure contains both hydrophilic quaternary ammonium salt and reactive acryloyloxy groups. It is a water-soluble, non-toxic chemical that can be copolymerized with monomers such as acrylamide and acrylic acid to form a high molecular polymer with good flocculation, adsorption, antistatic and hydrophilic properties. It is mainly used in the preparation of flocculants, flocculants or dispersants for sludge dehydration in the paper industry, fiber colorants, pigment dispersants, and conductive coatings.
